Just as we did last year Amber and myself hopped into the car and headed towards the Motor City. It was time once again to check out the North American International Auto Show. This years show was no disappointment. I even heard that Saturdays opener had record setting attendance compared to the previous 5 years.
Of course it is no secret the Detroit Auto Show has hundreds of cars on display from many different manufactures. From concept cars to next year’s models there are no shortage of cool and interesting cars to look at. Some displays however drew more attention than others.
The Hot Wheels Chevy Camaro was a crowd favorite. You could tell this just by the sheer number of people gathered around. This made getting in close enough to get a good photo a challenge.
Another display that I thought was cool was the Kia exhibit. They had a large cut-out of the Kia hamster that you could stand next to and get your picture taken with.

In addition to cars there were many displays showing how different components worked and interactive games. There was even Motown singers just outside the entrance. If you got hungry during your visit there were many food courts, some even showing you how it was made.

I am in to the green things this day. I’m glad you have pictures of green electric cars. The car show had my imaginations working. Cars have gotten more compact and efficient.
